Resolution: In order to ensure that age-friendly and dementia-friendly initiatives are understood, valued, and integrated into the future of Erie City and County. 
Independent Council on Aging Erie resolves to support an Erie City and County that is committed to supporting older adults by promoting age and dementia friendly initiatives to make our communities more aligned with the greater number and strength of older adults.

Welcome to the Independent Council on Aging's website!
Known as ICA, the mission of our member-based organization is:
To improve the quality of life for mature adults, while fostering a positive image of aging.

The Independent Council on Aging, Inc. (ICA) is a voluntary, not-for-profit coalition of individuals, agencies and businesses from the public and private sectors who provide services to seniors in Erie and Erie County.

Interested in joining us?
ICA membership luncheon meetings are held monthly, typically at:
The Regency at South Shore 
322 Washington PL Erie, PA 16505
Currently meetings are being held in person and via Zoom. 
At the meeting, members enjoy a variety of speakers who talk on topics of interest to seniors. There are reports from committees and announcements from members about activities for seniors throughout Erie County. If you're a professional, senior advocate or interested in the care and welfare of our seniors, contact:

Visitors can attend a monthly meeting and receive lunch for $8 or join our group for $100/year.
